Last season Premier League runner up Manchester United is off to winning ways with 3-0 win over newly promoted Newcastle United in an attempt to re-capture the Premier League title from their bitter rival Chelsea. With the lesson learned last season after trailing Chelsea going to the final day, I’m sure Sir Alex and the lads realize the challenge ahead this term and that was nonetheless evident today in a stunning display of character in their opener. Sadly, for newly promoted Newcastle, it had to be so brutal. I’m sure this wasn’t the sort of welcome they were expecting after spending a relatively short time in the Championship proving they belong in the top flight.

This is my conclusion of the Europe top soccer league. I made my decision based on Competitiveness, top players availability,Champions Leagues success and style of play.
England English Premier League
The Premiership is comprised of the world most gifted talent and continuing to attract more at an astonishing rate due to it fast paced, competitiveness and playing environment. The Premiership rise to the top with the fall of Italy’s Serie A and hasn’t look back since.
Spain La Liga
With the success of Real Madrid and Barcelona in European competitions in the past see’s La Liga popularity increased and now categorized as the best league goin head to head with the Premiership. The style of play is very different from the Premiership whereas in Spain they focus on short passes and retaining ball possession versus England’s long passes, fast passed and the use of the entire pitch.
Italy Serie A
Once renown as the best league on the planet, Italy’s Serie A flourishes with the likes of AC Milan and Juventus carrying their flag high. But due to match fixing scandal and a more defensive style of play the popularity of Serie A has declined.
German Bundesliga
Known mostly for their physical style of play, the Bundesliga has received its fair share of popularity and fan base, most of which are loyal Germans and rest from Europe . The league standards has risen over the past five years and start competing for top players in Europe and South America to play their trade there.
France League 1
Critized for its over-reliance on defensive style of play and praised for the abundance of young emerging talent see League One balances its popularity in europe. League one is home to many of todays top players who all develop their career in this league. Here are a few Zinedine Zidane,Ronaldinho,Frank Ribery and Theory Henry.

Will Barcelona complete the double over Real or will Real bounce back and break even? Thats the question to answer when the two teams go head to head in the most anticipated match of the season nicknamed “El Clasico”. Both teams have quality player that can score goal and secure a victory for their respective team and also go three points clear at top of the table. With both teams missing key player like Kaka (Real Madrid) and Ibrahimovic for (Barcelona) their will be plenty of talent still left in the line-up to get the job done, therefore we should expect to see goals from both ends. I think the winner of this match will be decided on key players, ball possession and mistake. If either team can be on the the flip side of these factor most likely that team will win the encounter.

The premier is a welcoming place for newly promoted sides, and also a unforgiving place for sides that doesn’t show much character, and willingness to stay alive in the top flight. This season two out of three newly promoted side aren’t showing survivability status. Both Burnley and Wolves looking more and more likely to succumbed to the EPL drop, while Birmingham their fellow promoted side riding smoothly in mid-table. But make no mistake this could all change considering the amount of football left to be played. So as to who will survive the drop will be the question we would all like to know. Will it be Wolves, Burnley and Portsmouth or will it be Hull, Burnley and Portsmouth? We all will see in the coming weeks.
